Ms McMorrin Brighton Marathon

On Sunday 6th April,  Ms McMorrin took part in the Brighton Marathon, as planned. It was not very pretty, and it was certainly not very fast, but it was completed! Thanks to the generosity of the community, over £1,100 has been raised for the NSPCC. Thank you so very much for your encouragement and kindness and support all its many forms. It is heartwarming to imagine how many children might be helped as the result of your sponsorship.

Year 6 Flowplant Trip 27.02.25

Year 6 had a truly wonderful time at Flowplant,  an engineering company in Salisbury. Thanks to Mr Smith,   and his skilled team, the children learned much about how engineering can be used to solve a range of puzzles and  overcome challenges. We are great believers in the maxim that ‘if you can see it, you can be it’ so let’s hope we have inspired a generation of engineers.

The end of last term was incredibly productive with a diverse collection of successes so we can only hope that  the holiday was restorative for every member of our community.

We are on the brink of a busy term that will be packed with great learning and life-enhancing, enrichment events. The countdown to the whole school trip to Paultons Park has officially started…16 sleeps!

The Spirit of Water

At the end of last term, our children took part in a community project called 'The Spirit of Water'.  Each child decorated a cardboard fish to display alongside the flower festival held at Salisbury Cathedral. The children did an amazing job! The cathedral had over 15,500 visitors and made both the regional and national press as well as the TV! The fish have now been moved to the cloisters for all to view for FREE.  The display will be dismantled early next week, so do pop by this weekend if you can!
